With over 16 years experience managing our client’s masters, we’ve seen the industry change quite a bit from just storing a single master and its basic information. Today clients have the need for managing masters with Parent/Child relationships as traditional video masters are now being used to create multiple masters on DVD, CD-ROM, and formats suitable for distribution over the Web.
DVS currently stores over 7,000 masters at our facility in a climate-controlled environment. Clients have access to their masters in our library via our web based Insight Library system 24x7.

Advanced Media Library Services

Our Insight Library system can store much more than the item’s basic information (title, length, format, etc.).
- Artwork – Artwork used to print the duplicates may be stored digitally along with the master record in the library.
- Metadata – MPEG-7 compliant Metadata can be stored in the library for faster and more advanced searching.
- Thumbnails – Photo or Video previews may be stored with the record in the library. By logging into the library through the web, you can see a preview of the master before ordering.
- Custom ordering – We don’t use cookie cutter order applications. Each client's needs are different. We can create a custom order form for you or your clients to order duplicates.
